  • expertise as a physician with 3 decades in the holistic and integrative medicine field,

  • 20 years of training and mentoring integrative health and wellness coaches in a rigorous academic environment,

  • 30+ years of yoga practice and yoga teacher training,

  • Decades of training and experience in mind/body skills—mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, movement/dance, etc.

I am excited to now offer my integrative health coaching services to any individuals truly committed to improving their overall health and wellbeing across all aspects of their life—physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational. While I am happy to work with any adult seeking to improve their life experience, I am particularly committed to offering personalized support for those who may have a compromised quality of life due to any in a wide range of health conditions, whether new or on-going.

I understand that each individual's health journey is unique. In this coaching role, I do not diagnose or treat specific illnesses, however, I am well positioned to assist individuals in making lifestyle behavior and belief changes to optimize their daily lives, and to help them advocate for themselves in a complex and challenging healthcare system. Additionally, I am well versed in a broad range of health care interventions and closely connected with a community of diverse practitioners both locally and nationally. This allows me to introduce new possible therapeutic approaches for clients when they are interested in expanding their healing plans. My coaching approach is tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each client as a whole person with unique needs and intentions.

I work closely with clients to self-develop customized plans that address their specific health concerns, promote overall wellbeing, and empower them to take control of their health and healthcare.

SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER:

The first 10 clients who schedule an intake call in July and begin coaching by the end of September will qualify for a discounted hourly or package rate.  ($150/hr. or 5-session package/6 months for $650)

Schedule a free 15 min. informational call with Dr. Lawson, to help you understand what coaching is and how it may benefit you, to get any questions answered, and to determine your fit for moving ahead with an initial session. Initial sessions are 55 min. in length (sometimes 2 such sessions are recommended), and follow-up sessions 25 or 55 min. depending upon client need and desire. Frequency of sessions is at the discretion of the client, but many have found that weekly or bi-weekly meetings may optimize forward movement. A minimum of 5 sessions is recommended in order to achieve meaningful change.
